Imber
Imber
Imber originates from Lacon, representing the Metaphorical force of Water, Secrets, and Predation.
PredationThe Metaphorical sense of Predation regulates hunger in all things that need to sustain themselves, whether that consumption is of food, Metaphor or anything else. It also regulates one's hunger in a less literal sense, such as for knowledge, experience, power, or control over the things around them, including objects, land, animals, and people. Those empty of Imber will feel unfathomably hungry, and eating will not sate this hunger; some are driven mad to cannibalism. WaterImber governs elemental Water, such as that which is found in the bodies of organic matter, the moisture in the air, or that which makes up the vastness of Lacon and its interactions with the other Metaphorical elements. SecretsThe most esoteric aspect of Imber is its governance over secrets, responsible for the desire to both keep and seek them out. It also confers a general desire to learn and seek out new information as a whole, regardless of how hidden. Those steeped in Imber, such as the Behaemon and Cor'Norai both often possess vast stores of information, but they tend to be more guarded of their knowledge, and they also tend to be better at keeping their secrets than most. |
