Racial Abilities:

Heightened Senses Foxetti who live solitary lives develop a heightened sense of hearing and smell. They can hear for up to six miles, responding to yells from two to three miles out regardless of tree cover. They can smell many things coming downwind, such as storms and Foxetti doctors can even sense illness through a combination of hearing and scent.

Heightened emotions like fear, anger, or joy can also be picked up by a Foxetti nose.

History

Foxetti clans have founded their clan on Varsinais-Suomi, territory which became the most known center of fur trade around the coastal town of Turku, a town spread across river and multiple fortifications.

Origin

Sofontti Foxetti were uplifted by Dragons. Uplifted by Kärkitar, the Mother of the fox kind, and a dragon of the forests with the darker furred ones aka silver foxes being spawned by Dragons Lukutar. The dark furred ones are considered rarer and more special than their orange furred brethren.

Magic

Foxetti are not permitted by their gods, Kärkitar,Lukutar, Ukko, Tapio to practice foreign arcana. At most, they will dabble in Animism, Mysticism, or Ensorcelling. Very rarely are there Animists with Gramarye, or Shaman who borrow the power of a dragon, leading a life of spiritual service. Galdr, foreign Glamour, Pacts, and Dominion are forbidden by sacred law and seen as evil, while Poetics used by the living are seen as anathema. Causing a ruckus with magic will rapidly earn the ire of Kalevalan gods--Dragons who will send their minions to hunt those who violate these sacred laws.

Language

Foxetti speak Sofonic, which is a phonetic language that incorporates actual words, animal vocalizations varying upon the race of the Sofontti who is speaking, and body language. This is seen as the most complicated of languages across the entire world as each regional dialect varies significantly between the various clades of Sofontti.

When written, Sofonic is a runic language of glyphs, often with jagged and claw-like markings etched by claws. OOCly Finnish is used to represent Sofonic, and non-verbal information may be written in *italics*.

Biology

Foxetti are semi-humanoid.

Foxetti are smaller than average human, bipedal, semi-humanoid foxes that stand upright on two legs. They are between four and four and a little over half feet tall. They have poseable thumbs on their paws.

Foxetti are considered pups until the age of sixteen, at which point they may marry.
