Below you will find summaries for the various forms of supernatural power known to the world.

The Tangle.

Tangles are a magic tapestry of invisible ribbons woven into a soul, awakening it to the expression of magic. By drawing in Aether from the Aetherium and channeling it through their Tangle, a mage is capable of creating miracles at the risk of unraveling their mind, body, and soul. See Tangles

Elementia.

Elementalia refers broadly to the various elemental Tangles a mage may wield. See Elementia.

The Blighted.

The Blighted are afflicted with a Tangle of dark power and amoral hunger. See Blights.

Practices.

Practices are a form of magic derived from the world around the mage, using mundane or magical tools, Alkahest, and the strange laws of reality to their benefit. What a Practice can do is without limitation, provided the necessary materials are on hand. See Practices

Glamour.

Glamour is the power of converting Life Force to Aether using arcane-adapted organs within or upon the body. Some races including the Faefolk and Draconidae are born with the organs necessary to cultivate it, and magical creatures sometimes wield Minor Glamour to terrifying effect. See Glamour.

Gnosis.

Gnosis is a philosophical power cultivated through an organized faith derived from one or more gods imagined by a Prophet. The miracles of Gnosis are fueled by drawing upon the mass expression of a concept rather than the devout themselves.

Eldritch.

Eldritch: Phenomena is considered Eldritch when it cannot be classified in the usual way, often tied to metaphor or one's state of being. See Eldritch.
