Miasmata

Miasmata originates from Pandemonium, representing the metaphorical force of death itself, and everything to do with unlife.

Anima

The most well known aspect of Miasmata is Anima. Most living creatures develop within themselves Anima where their vitality no longer sustains them, leading to aging. Lots of 'Anima' within a body will make the skin naturally lose collagen and sag, growing pale. Veins will shrink, and organs will begin to fail. Maltricians repurpose this Anima with specialized tools to yield an illusion of vigor.

The polar opposite of Anima is Life Force.

Unlife

Death

Slowly or all at once through shock, Miasmata congeals and shrouds the soul as it dies, giving birth to a Ghost in Pandemonium.
