Through circumstance or deliberate meddling, some forms of Arcana may twist and branch off into different shades of themselves.

Summary

Variants are mutations or alternate versions of existing Arcana often lensed through a different Metaphor entirely; below is a list of currently available Variants. Some are so vast in scope that they have their own pages, whilst others may be found in the table of contents of their root Arcana's page.

Special

• Paragon - A Paragon is a unique state of being; it is a Variant, or rather, an amalgamation, of all five elemental Galdr.
• Null - The Null are a Blight subjected to the rule of All or Nothing, warping each of their Personal Arcana into Absentia Variants.

Artifice

• Grovewright - Ælheim's ruleset for Artifice.

Draoidh

• Æcturnis - Draoidh nourished by the light of the moon.
• Sloadh - Fungal Draoidh who approach the Arcana through the lens of mycology.
• Coreadh - Thalassian Draoidh with mastery over living corals in lieu of flora.

Grist

• Geist - Geist is the Glamour of Grist lensed through Miasmata and wielded by Dracolyches or those who are the living dead.
• Encaustum - Encaustum is the Glamour of Grist lensed through Imber by a Krakon or Lævos, Arche of Lacon.
• Tetli - Tetli is the Glamour of Grist lensed through Geomena by a Coatl, or Quetzalcoatl, Arche of the Ur'Duun.

Aqua

• Kyanosis - The Arche of Lacon known as Lævos gifted the Cor'Norai an Imberic perversion of Aqua he had created to assert his dominion over Imber: Kyanosis.

Nekros

• Vitæ - Nekros' green cousin, Vitæ was handcrafted deliberately by the Æld'Norai to suit their needs, allowing for its practitioners to craft and wield a litany of florabound thralls.

Remnant

• Ash Dominion - When Remnant is wielded using Absentia, it shifts into the dominion of Ash, twisted and bent by the Night Father's touch.
• Abyssal Dominion - When Remnant is wielded using Imber, it is only able to exist within an area of Avernus overlain by a body of water.

Nightwalker

• Fleshwalker - Pelezotz's Cambion possess a purer version of Nightwalker, able to control their anger and have more flexibility with their Therianthropy.
