Legacy of Ældrassil
When the group that would become the first Jin’Norai had their Tethers to Ældrassil severed, remnants of Ældrassil's magic still lingered. Unlike with the Fælnir, the Æld'Norai did not opt to Syphon what remained of His magic away. Though they lose access to the Draoidh their former kin retain, they are left with soul scarring– in this case, fortifying them, allowing them to weather their first Galdr initiation easily, almost seamlessly, as if a parting gift from the great dragon Himself.
Eye of the Storm
After many years living in the deserts above Ælheim, the Jin’Norai as a people grew to form a special fondness for Aeris, Zephyr and the powers of the wind. Because of this, their revered Zephyri sages and Animists worked tirelessly together to gift their kin with an affinity for it during the era of the Mirage Kingdoms. These experiments eventually bore fruit, and the results may be passed on from Jin’Norai to Jin’Norai in the form of a ritual that has set them distinctly apart from other Broken Ælves.
Using stolen power from the Meridian dragon who stabilizes the region, a Jin’Norai Animist will mark each child at birth, granting them a natural resistance to Aeris. They are all thus able to weather strong winds and any unwanted magical effect produced by the Metaphor with preternatural ease. Mechanically, they are able to fully resist up to Journeyman Aeris effects. This effect loses half its potency with each further tier; they resist half of Expert effects, one fourth of Master effects, and none of Grandmaster/Ascendant effects.
