Challenge Rating
OverviewAn overview of Challenge Rating. Encounter RulesRules related to encountering Fauna & Flora in your plots. Fauna
Beast MagicFauna sometimes have Glamour abilities which may be expanded into Beast Magic write-up. This is known as Wild Glamour, usable by Animists and Maltricians. FloraFlora have a challenge rating from 1 to 6 indicating the suggested skill level for those seeking to utilize them with the Medicine skill, which also handles poisons and herbalist remedies. Alchemists would follow this rating as well. Finding them would be Field Craft, and gardening or farming with them would be Ranching. Draoidh would be able to Florabind to any tier of plant, but cannot use Flora Magic from that plant unless they are of that skill level.
Flora MagicFlora such as plants, fungi, or coral sometimes have Saol abilities known as Flora Magic, expandable into write-ups with XP costs. Draoidh or its variants, Vitæ or similar variants, and Practices might make use of these. Alchemists can make use of most Flora Magic by adding it to Alkemicals for the creation of Contrivances. |
