Servitor

The Servitor is a Saol Mutagenic derived from various proprietary Alkemicals. The benefactor receives heightened senses and exceptional reaction times - often faster than their body can physically move with the caveat that their bones become brittle, muscles wasting without a strict diet. Famous for their cold, dark demeanors and unshakeable deduction skills, they serve as both mage hunting detectives and reserve infantry for the Anti-Arcanist Republic of Dullahan.

Appearance

Witherman: A Servitor has pitch black, featureless eyes that rarely blink, and their skin becomes pale, sometimes even emaciated. Their bodies burn calories at a higher rate, so many of them are rather spindly akin to an avian profile.

Drawbacks

• Until 250 XP: Metabolic Burnout: The Servitor suffers from frailty and brittle bones. They often need a cane to support themselves until later, requiring extensive muscular therapy to get back to physical health in the first days, and routine fitness regimes to stay in shape. As they progress, their abilities cause their mind to wander, making them easily distracted, anxious, tired, and irritable on a good day. Many of them fall victim to depression, and rates of suicide among their kind are stark. Being distractible is their most commonly exploited weakness; criminals make a game of throwing them off with confections and misdirection.

Abilities

• 100 XP: Minor - Deduction: A Servitor has vastly heightened senses, allowing their Investigation skill to pick up on trace odors such as the fear in sweat, blood on clothing or open wounds, and the telltale ozone odor of recently cast spells, lingering for hours and sometimes days after a powerful spell is cast. They are able to observe everything in their peripheral vision as if it were their focus, and because of this they rarely make eye contact with those they speak with anymore.
• 200 XP: Major - Savantism: A Servitor is able to think and react faster than most. They can tie together profoundly complex logic to paint a narrative, and they can react slightly faster than they are able to physically move. All Servitor by now feel alien and out of touch with society due to how their mind functions, and this never disappears with naturalization.
