Origins
The elves were once a conclave of Sidhe Fae exiled from their homeland, stripped of their Glamour by the Fae Courts. Their souls were further curse-bound to Ældrassil, a great tree at the center of the Myrkvior so that their souls would not return to Elphyne. In time, the Æld'Norai leaders - the Ældar'i - exiled factions of their own kin; those they captured, they flesh-wove into the first humans. Rebels who escaped the Ælfblood Cleansing became the Cor'Norai and Jin'Norai.

Both the Æld'Norai and Jin'Norai speak Elvish. The Cor'Norai speak Elvish above land, and a similar language called Watersong beneath the waves.
