For any world, the economy is vital. Most nations have their own sort of trade and currency that functions within their nations. On account of this, it is assume that as a character travels between nations, they exchange their currency into the local currency. For the purposes of maintaining the simplicity of tracking currency, the following denominations are used.

Denominations

There are three denominations in this system. These are, from smallest to largest: copper, silver, and gold.

Copper
The lowest denomination in popular use. A single copper can not get you much, but a couple can get you some food at a lower-end tavern.
Silver
A single silver is worth 10 copper, and is the currency of the common folk. A few silver can get you a room at an inn. Some basic supplies also are priced in silver.
Gold
The money of merchants and aristocrats. A single gold is worth 10 silver. Most things that require expertise to make, such as weapons and armor, cost this. As well as many items that are considered a luxury.
