  • Behaviors: Loci in Entities conveys a sense for exact distances. Two Objects with Loci are capable of sustaining permanent Exodus Portals cast between them. Icol prevents Portals from being traversed or cast; Icol does not mutually annihilate with its opposing Boon of Loci unless Conditionally manipulated to do so.
  • Spatial senses are accurate to as small as the stated unit of measurement, meaning they may be used as a natural in-built measuring stick for Trade Skills.
  • If taken beyond the maximum distance, an Exodus Portal within an Object will snap shut, ejecting anything within its threshold.
  • Contact with a Portal means attempting to push the affected Object or Entity through it or against its rim.
  • Destroyed Portals in Objects may be renewed or repurposed by an appropriately skilled Exodii.
  • Exodii have a sense that opening a Portal within view of an equivalent-tier Icol Mirror wouldn't work when attempting to cast; this would waste their time in attempting to cast, but not their Spell Reserves.
  • It should be assumed that most civilizations have a network of several heavily guarded Ascended-tier Icol mirrors pointing up at both the skies above and the horizon in every cardinal direction unless otherwise noted by a local Storyteller. Message them if you are not sure.
  • Conditions: Loci / Icol are only active in within or in the hands of Galsterei. Icol does not mutually annihilate with its opposing Boon of Loci unless Conditionally manipulated to do so.

Boon of Loci
Tier Description
Ridhinne Confers immunity to Planar Sickness when travelling between Planes. Objects appear translucent as if blurry, over-exposed windows to a location within regular view of the craftsman; this may be used by Exodii to Portal to that point of view, but does not otherwise convey what is happening in real-time.
Novice Entities possess a sense for exact distances in meters up to 50ft away. Two Objects may sustain an Apprentice-tier Exodus Portal upon or within the encapsulated bounds of them permanently at a distance of up to 200ft.
Apprentice Entities possess a sense for exact distances in feet up to 100ft away. Two Objects may sustain an Apprentice-tier Exodus Portal upon or within the encapsulated bounds of them permanently at a distance of up to 1 mile.
Journeyman Entities possess a sense for exact distances in inches up to 500ft away. Two Objects may sustain a Journeyman-tier Exodus Portal upon or within the encapsulated bounds of them permanently at a distance of up to 10 miles.
Expert Entities possess a sense for exact distances in centimeters up to 1 mile away. Two Objects may sustain an Expert-tier Exodus Portal upon or within the encapsulated bounds of them permanently at a distance of up to 100 miles.
Master Entities possess a sense for exact distances in nanometers up to as far as they can see. Two Objects may sustain a Master-tier Exodus Portal permanently at any distance within the same Plane.
Ascended Entities possess a sense for exact distances in nanometers up to as far as they can imagine. Two Objects may sustain an Ascended-tier Exodus Portal permanently at any distance across any Plane.

Tier Description
Ridhinne Affected Entities are weak to Planar Sickness when travelling between Planes, reducing the effect Conditioning Skills have on mitigating the effects by three tiers. Reflections within an Object convey a dull representation of the world lit by dim light without fog, blinding light, darkness, or water of any kind.
Novice Affected Entities or Objects cannot cast or pass through Apprentice-tier Exodus Portals.
Apprentice Affected Entities cannot cast or pass through Apprentice-tier Exodus Portals. Objects will destroy up to Apprentice-tier Exodus Portals upon contact; up to Apprentice-tier Portals may not be opened within the reflection of an Object.
Journeyman Affected Entities cannot cast or pass through up to Journeyman-tier Exodus Portals. Objects will destroy up to Journeyman-tier Exodus Portals upon contact; up to Journeyman-tier Portals may not be opened within the reflection of an Object.
Expert Affected Entities cannot cast or pass through up to Expert-tier Exodus Portals. Objects will destroy up to Expert-tier Exodus Portals upon contact; up to Expert-tier Portals may not be opened within the reflection of an Object.
Master Affected Entities cannot cast or pass through up to Master-tier Exodus Portals. Objects will destroy up to Master-tier Exodus Portals upon contact; up to Master-tier Portals may not be opened within the reflection of an Object.
Ascended Affected Entities cannot cast or pass through up to Ascended-tier Exodus Portals. Objects will destroy up to Ascended-tier Exodus Portals upon contact; up to Ascended-tier Portals may not be opened within the reflection of an Object.
