Errata
  • Behaviors: Tine provides entities or objects with a notable resistance to heat by raising one’s melting point while lowering their conductivity. Enit does the opposite.
  • Tine works against the mundane harms of flame or electricity, but not any secondary magical effects such as Luxium living within the flame.
  • Artificial flames with Tine such as those produced by Alchemists are much more difficult to manipulate with spells / effects except by their creator.
  • Tine may be overwhelmed by excessive amounts of flame or electricity. As a rule of thumb, thrice-casted Pyromancy / Fulguratio of the tier one is immune to will begin to burn an entity or object with this Cantrip.
  • When Tine / Enit is paired with Fuar / Rauf, the more convenient effect will take priority for Gnosis, while the more inconvenient effect will take priority for Rauf.
  • Enit often requires a handle of equivalent-tier Tine to wield without burning oneself.
  • Tine / Enit also interacts with or resists the lightning but not the thunder of Stormcall.
  • Conditions: Tine is only active within or when held by Galsterei, during sunny, hot (90F/32C+) weather, and within or near to Aarda. Enit is only active in Galsterei, in cold areas where the sun is not present or is at least obscured, or upon Æylune.

Apprentice Confers immunity to harm from Novice-tier Pyromancy / Fulguratio or similar spells and mundane, harmful events utilizing flame and electricity. Ignores the mild discomfort of a noticeable rise in temperature, nor will such temperatures cause Objects to grow hot.
Journeyman Confers immunity to harm from up to Apprentice-tier Pyromancy / Fulguratio or similar spells and harmful events utilizing flame and electricity. Ignores the significant discomfort and numbness of temperatures warm enough to cause heat stroke, nor will such temperatures cause Objects to grow hot.
Expert Confers immunity to harm from up to Journeyman-tier Pyromancy / Fulguratio or similar spells and harmful events utilizing flame and electricity. Ignores the severe discomfort, immobility, and numbness of temperatures hot enough to cause first degree burns. No longer develops heat stroke from any form of hot weather.
