Boon of Fuar
Tier Description
Ridhinne Confers immunity to Planar Sickness when travelling between Planes. Objects appear translucent as if blurry, over-exposed windows to a location within regular view of the craftsman; this may be used by Exodii to Portal to that point of view, but does not otherwise convey what is happening in real-time.
Novice Novice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold feel negligible. Subtle changes in temperature will not cause discomfort, nor will they cause Objects to grow cold.
Apprentice Confers immunity to harm from Novice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold. Ignores the mild discomfort of a noticeable drop in temperature, nor will such temperatures cause Objects to grow cold.
Journeyman Confers immunity to harm from Apprentice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold. Ignores the significant discomfort and numbness of temperatures cold enough to hinder movement, nor will such temperatures cause Objects to grow cold.
Expert Confers immunity to harm from Journeyman-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold. Ignores the severe discomfort, immobility, frostbite, and numbness of temperatures cold enough to freeze limbs, nor will such Objects feel cold or be damaged by these temperatures.
Master Confers immunity to harm from Expert-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold. Ignores the effects of all but the most severe cold weather or frostbite, nor will Objects feel cold or be damaged by these temperatures.
Ascended Confers immunity to harm from Master-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold. May no longer be made brittle by effects such as Nucleate, even when cast at an Ascended level. Ignores the effects of all cold weather or up to severe frostbite, nor will Objects feel cold or be damaged in these temperatures.
Hex of Ruaf
Tier Description
Ridhinne Entities will feel as though everything is cold while Objects will slowly sap away body temperature when held or worn, aiding in comfort within hot climates while adding to the risk of hypothermia in cold weather.
Novice Novice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold feel noticeably cooler, enough to induce a shiver. Subtle changes in temperature will cause discomfort; Objects warm more slowly than others.
Apprentice Entities feel Novice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold as if they were cast at a potency of Apprentice. They experience mild discomfort as though a noticeable drop in temperature has occurred; Objects remain quite cool to the touch unless directly heated.
Journeyman Entities feel Apprentice-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold as if they were cast at a potency of Journeyman. They experience enough discomfort from room temperatures that they will slowly grow numb and eventually frostbitten upon their extremities within an hour. Objects are so cold as to sting with cold and confer moderate frostbite if pressed to the skin for several seconds or more.
Expert Entities feel Journeyman-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold temperatures as if they were cast at a potency of Expert. They experience enough discomfort from room temperatures that they will grow numb and eventually frostbitten within minutes upon their extremities unless exposed to a heat source. Objects are so cold they stick to flesh and begin to freeze on contact after just a couple of seconds, eventually causing severe frostbite.
Master Entities feel Expert-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold temperatures as if they were cast at a potency of Master. They experience enough discomfort from room temperatures that they will grow numb and eventually frostbitten upon their extremities within a minute unless exposed to a heat source. Objects are so cold they are capable of delivering severe frostbite instantaneously on contact, freezing entire limbs of large-sized creatures after several seconds of exposure.
Ascended Entities feel Master-tier Cryomancy or similar spells utilizing cold temperatures as if they were cast at a potency of Ascended. They experience enough discomfort from room temperatures that they will grow numb and eventually frostbitten upon their extremities within several seconds unless exposed to a heat source; Objects are so cold they are capable of freezing through entire limbs of large-sized creatures on contact, even those of Adult Dragons if allowed several seconds of exposure.
